How to Unlock the Pinky Mount

To unlock the Pinky Mount in Final Fantasy XIV, players must acquire rare tonics from Treasure Hunts or spend a mountain of Gil at the Market Board.

One of the most grandiloquent new Mounts introduced in Patch 6.3: "Gods Revel, Lands Tremble," is Pinky, a sizeable pink elephant sporting a headpiece that strongly resembles the bunny decorations from The Excitatron 6000 in Final Fantasy XIV. Moreover, Pinky's fabulous headpiece and the azure beads on its ears glow brightly in the night sky, making it a G-pose Mount for darker scenery. Those who have gained access to Endwalker's Moon locations can also capture some excellent snapshots flying atop Pinky with the glittering stars of outer space complementing the Mount's colorful and flashy ornaments.

Unlocking the Pinky Mount in Final Fantasy XIV is not an easy task unless Warriors of Light are wealthy with Gil or lucky with RNG. This obtainment process involves collecting three vials of a new resource called Exciting Tonic.

According to the item's description, it is "an exciting pink liquid available in the Excitatron 6000," which plainly indicates that the item can likely be acquired from the Treasure Hunt instance accessible by discovering the locations of Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Maps. The Excitatron 6000 offers a variety of rarities, including Cloth of Happiness, Resplendent Feather, and Exciting Fiber, a material pink like Exciting Tonic.

Alternatively, Final Fantasy XIV content creator Meoni states that the Exciting Tonic can also be procured from chests discovered with the new Timeworn Ophiotauroskin Maps or within The Shifting Gymnasion Agonon Dungeon. However, they are extremely rare, meaning that players might need to grind several Treasure Hunt runs and maps before they are able to find the tonics.

As noted above, those with sufficient funds will be able to purchase three Exciting Tonics from the Market Board, which will likely cost upwards of millions of Gil for all three. Buying the Exciting Tonics from the Market Board is the most time-efficient method for unlocking Pink since making Gil in FFXIV is not as heavily RNG-depending as Timeworn treasure and Treasure Hunt drops.

Once players have finally acquired the three Exciting Tonics, they can visit Nesvaaz in Radz-at-Han to buy the Pinky Mount in FFXIV. Nesvaaz is an Au Ra trader who runs the Totem and Sundry Exchange and can be found at the coordinates (X: 10.6, Y: 10.0). Accordingly, users must interact with this Merchant and select "Out-of-this-world Oddities."

Next, players can check the "Show only recently added items" to find the Pinky Identification Key. Similar to the Wondrous Lanner Whistle, this is the consumable that unlocks Pinky in FFXIV.
